JAVAREE TALKS

Overload builds quietly. Interrupted sleep. Packed schedules. Constant decisions. Then something small happens, and your reaction is bigger than the situation.

That is not character. It is physiology.

Last week, I noticed my body tense up before I spoke. Instead of reacting right away, I paused, took a slow breath in, a slower breath out, relaxed my shoulders, and unclenched my jaw.

The situation stayed the same. I did not.

You don’t need to meditate for an hour. You just need moments to pause.

  • Inhale for four, exhale for four

  • Drop your shoulders

  • Lower your voice

Your body leads your tone. Your tone leads the moment.

Children borrow our nervous systems before they build their own. Regulation is trained steadiness. It compounds.

THE TAKEAWAY

Calm your body before you speak.

TAKEAWAY TO ACTION

Pick one reset and practice it daily. Steadiness is built in reps.
